Bitmain Reveals its New Hydro Miner

Just recently, Bitcoin has announced that they have launched a new miner for their consumers. This new miner is called the Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd and what’s interesting about it is that it is hydro-powered.

Bitmain elaborates that this new hydro miner has a hash rate of  198 TH/s, power efficiency of 27.5J/TH, and power consumption of 5445W. It features the latest liquid cooling technology that the company can offer and they’re so proud of this reveal that they have a catchline for this saying that people will enter a new era powered by liquid cooling.

Bitmain Hydro Miner, the The Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd

If these specs are accurate, then the Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd will be the most powerful crypto miner this day. Its hash rate alone greatly outperforms Bitmain’s powerful mining rig that has a hash rate of 140 TH/s, showing that the Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd has a 41% increase in power compared to the previous best that the Bitmain has to offer.

The new miner might have been launched but as of right now it still doesn’t have a price. Take note that the Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd will be shipped sometime between May and September this year.

With specifications like this, it is no wonder that Bitmain calls it the new era of liquid cooling. The advanced cooling methods they have created has greatly increased the power capacity of the miner meaning that it will be more efficient in mining those precious Bitcoins.
