Unstoppable Adventure: Immutable Unveils “The Main Quest” With A Whopping 50 Million USD Prize Pool

The incentive program features titles that are partnering or building on Immutable, such as Illuvium, Guild of Guardians, Space Nation, and MetalCore.

After a long period of incubation, on the evening of April 25, Immutable officially launched an incentive program called “The Main Quest” with a prize pool of up to $50 million.

Layer-2 blockchain for gaming claims it is the largest Web3 user rewards program ever. Immutable is proud to be home to over 270 games.

The first phase of The Main Quest includes titles such as Illuvium, MetalCore, Pixelmon, Guild of Guardians, Space Nation, Blast Royale, Pool Masters, Hunters On-Chain, and Treeverse.

The notice states:

To participate, users must first create an Immutable Passport and interact with the Immutable zkEVM chain. Then, through various challenges and quests, users will accumulate gems, which will be used as criteria for receiving rewards (NFTs or tokens) in the future.

The price of IMX did not react positively to the news, but is only recovering in line with the overall market.

Immutable zkEVM and Immutable X are two layer-2 solutions owned by the web3 infrastructure company Immutable. While Immutable zkEVM supports smart contracts to provide EVM ZK-rollup for Polygon-based games, Immutable X is developed by Starkware and “says no” to smart contracts.

Immutable X was launched in April 2021, while Immutable zkEVM only activated its mainnet in early access mode earlier this year. The project is headquartered in Sydney and is backed by several big names such as Tencent, Coinbase, Bitkraft Ventures and Galaxy Interactive.
