Ledger Live Teams Up With Moonpay For Seamless Crypto Swaps & Instant Buys

• Ledger Live will now provide instant crypto buying and swapping services in partnership with MoonPay, which has also invested in the hardware wallet firm.
• Additionally, the companies are working together to create educational content for cryptocurrency traders as part of their collaboration.

Ledger and MoonPay are launching several digital asset services for customers, with MoonPay investing in the hardware wallet company.

In a statement released Monday, the companies announced that Ledger Live will enable instant processing of crypto purchases via MoonPay and support the payment servicer’s token swaps. As part of this partnership, Ledger Academy will introduce new self-paced crypto trading tutorials and other learning resources for users, including content that highlights MoonPay’s services.

“We are constantly working to bring better ease of use and access to crypto to Ledger users, while maintaining our industry-leading hardware security,” Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier said Monday in a statement.

A limited-edition Ledger x MoonPay Nano X hardware wallet is now available in online stores to mark the companies’ collaboration. This special purple wallet includes a $25 crypto voucher from MoonPay and will soon offer a one-year subscription to Ledger Recover, an ID-based key recovery service for hardware wallet owners, according to the companies.

This new venture builds on the previous collaboration between Ledger and MoonPay. In 2021, they launched a crypto buying option in Ledger Live enabled by MoonPay.
